How can I join the Ludlow Wargaming Society?
Joining is easy and free! Just attend one of our meetups or contact us through via email or the Facebook group.
Who can join the Ludlow Wargaming Society?
Since we currently meet in a Licenced Premises only those aged over 18 can join the LWS or attend meetings.
What types of Warhammer 40K events do you host?
We organize regular battles and painting workshops suitable for all skill levels.
Where are your events held?
Our gatherings take place in Ludlow, England, currently at the Rose & Crown Pub (see Contacts for a handy map!)
Do I need to bring my own miniatures and supplies?
Yes, players are encouraged to bring their own Warhammer 40K models and gear. We play the 10th Edition of Warhammer 40K
Do you charge?
Currently we not charge, thanks to the generosity of our hosts. However we cannot guarantee this will always be the case.
Do you play any other wargames?
While currently we only play Warhammer 40K, we are looking to expand to other Games Workshop/Warhammer based games such as Kill Team, Age of Sigmar, Horus Heresy and War Cry (if there is demand). Sadly we do not play historical war games
